The control center for your entire HVAC system — installed and configured right.

At a glance
Done once. Done right.
A thermostat isn’t just a temperature dial. It’s what tells your AC, furnace, or heat pump how and when to run — and a poorly configured one can quietly waste energy for years without you noticing. We install and configure smart thermostats correctly the first time, whether you’ve already bought one or need us to recommend the right model.

Do You Need a Professional Installation?
Simple single-stage systems can sometimes be a DIY swap. But dual-fuel heat pumps, multi-stage AC systems, and homes without a dedicated C-wire (common wire) need professional wiring and configuration — get it wrong and you risk blowing a fuse on your furnace control board, or a thermostat that never quite communicates with your system correctly.
The C-Wire Problem
Smart thermostats need continuous power to run their Wi-Fi connection and display. Older systems often don’t have a “C-wire” (common wire) run to the thermostat location, since traditional thermostats didn’t need one. When that’s the case, we install a power extender kit or run new low-voltage wiring — done correctly, without risking damage to your HVAC control board.
Devices We Install
We install and configure both homeowner-supplied and professionally supplied thermostats, including:
Nest Learning Thermostat
Ecobee Smart Thermostat
Honeywell Home
Other Wi-Fi and programmable thermostat models
Already bought one and just need it installed correctly? We handle that too.
Dual-Fuel and Multi-Stage Systems
If you have a heat pump paired with a backup furnace (dual-fuel), or a multi-stage AC system, thermostat configuration matters even more — a properly set up thermostat manages auxiliary heat staging correctly, which prevents the system from defaulting to expensive backup heat more often than necessary.
Energy Savings
ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostats are built to reduce unnecessary run time through scheduling and geofencing, which can meaningfully lower cooling and heating costs — particularly useful against Southern California’s Time-of-Use utility rates, where running your system during peak hours costs more.
Thermostat & HVAC Control Upgrade Services in Orange County
A thermostat is the control center of your HVAC system. Our thermostat and HVAC control upgrade services in Orange County go beyond swapping a wall device: we check wiring, staging and equipment settings so the new control actually runs your system the way it was designed.
Smart thermostat installation and setup, including C-wire and power adapter solutions
Zoning controls and dampers for two-story homes with hot upstairs rooms
Heat pump and dual-fuel control setup, including auxiliary heat lockouts
Mini split wall controllers and Wi-Fi modules
Programmable thermostats for commercial rooftop units and small businesses
Upgrading a control is also a good moment for a maintenance visit, since a new thermostat cannot fix low refrigerant, a dirty coil or a failing capacitor. If your system short-cycles or will not reach temperature, start with AC repair or furnace repair.
